Laura Unsworth, part of the Team GB Hockey team that won Olympic Gold, was on Heart Breakfast with Ed James!

Ed James spoke to Olympic Gold Medalist, Laura Unsworth on Heart Breakfast on Friday morning, 

Exactly 1 week ago Laura won Olympic Gold with the Hockey team as they beat the Netherlands in the final.

Laura grew up in Sutton Coldfield, she attended Coppice Primary School and then Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for girls.

We organised something really special to celebrate her winning a gold medal for the West Midlands.

We spoke to the headteacher of Sutton Coldfield Grammar school for girls and revealed live on Heart Breakfast that they would be renaming the Fitness Suite, the 'Laura Unsworth Fitness Suite'.

We then invited the editor of The Royal Sutton Coldfield Observer on the show to make an announcement to Laura.

We've teamed up with them to change the name of the newspaper to 'The Royal Sutton GOLDfield Observer' for one week to celebrate Laura's incredible achievement.

The front page was taken over by us as we filled it with photo's of Laura with her gold medal!

We were incredibly proud of her and it just shows how amazing the West Midlands really is!
